1999—2002年在南开大学生命科学学院攻读博士学位，2002－2003年赴加拿大阿尔伯塔大学生物学系作博士后研究，2003－2005年在中国农业大学昆虫学系作博士后研究，2005－今 任北京农学院植物科学技术系教师
主讲课程：
《普通昆虫学》、《昆虫分类学》、《农业昆虫学》、《植物检疫法规概论》、《植物检疫技术》等。
研究方向：
主要从事昆虫系统分类与分子系统学、害虫综合防治的研究。
