计算机与信息工程系始创于2007年，属于北京农学院新成立的系；该系现有教师28人，其中：教授2名，副教授3名，年轻教师（年龄小于等于35岁）占68%。该系拥有多个实验室，包括：计算机公共实验室、计算机软件实验室、计算机硬件实验室等。现有本科专业一个，即：计算机科学与技术专业,学制四年；自1999年开始招生。本专业是一个计算机软件硬件结合、兼顾应用的计算机学科宽口径专业。不仅培养学生坚实的计算机科学与技术专业基础知识，而且具有适应计算机科学与技术飞速发展的能力；以及涉足广泛学科领域的能力。该专业开设课程达30余门，主要课程有：计算机导论、程序设计基础、汇编语言程序设计、电子电路学、数字逻辑、数据结构与算法、计算机组成原理、操作系统、数据库原理、微型计算机技术、软件工程、计算机网络、人工智能导论、计算机图形学等。
目前，计算机与信息工程系现有在校学生350多，已毕业学生700余人。随着“ 数字农业”建设的发展，计算机系在学科建设、人才培养、科学研究等方面将会有更大的发展。
About Deportment of Computer and Information Engineering
Founded in 2007, the Deportment of Computer and Information Engineering of Beijing University of Agriculture is the youngest department of the University. There are altogether 28 staff members working in the department including two professors, three associate professors. Young teachers (under the age of 35) take up 68% of all staff members. The Department includes several instructional laboratories, including public laboratories, software laboratories, hardware laboratories and so on. In present, the department provides one Undergraduate major:Computer Science and Technology, which started to recruit students in 1999. Over 30 courses are scheduled in the undergraduate curriculum, with emphasis in fundamental knowledge and applications with the objective to extend knowledge horizons and exploring new technologies. including: Introduction of Computer Science, Introduction to Programming, Assembly Language Programming,Circuits And Electronics ,Digital Logic, Data structures and Algorithms, Principle of Copmuter Organization, Principles of Databases, Operating System, Computer Network, Software Engineering , Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics and so on.
Now, there are altogether 350 undergraduate students in the department. To this day, we have graduated about 700 students. In the future,Following the development of “Digital Agriculture”, the Department of Computer and Information Engineering will continue to develop in the side of
Disciplinary Construction, Cultivation of Innovative Talents and studying of science and so on.
